Governor Gordon signs unethical HB126 into law, ripping personal freedom away from hard working Wyomingites

Governor Mark Gordon today signed into law HB126, stating as he did so that it is unconstitutional. We are working now to fight this in court as well as to continue our unwavering support for the women and families of Wyoming who deserve the freedom to make their own decisions without government interference.

HB126 is a bare faced attempt to control Wyoming women and families with flimsy (or actually non-existent) arguments that will harm women, the health profession and the state of Wyoming. This law undermines medical expertise and the individual freedoms of Wyoming citizens. It is a direct attack on the practice of medicine and patient reproductive health outcomes.

Research tells us that abortion bans lead to more unwanted or unsafe pregnancies carried to term, resulting in an increase maternal and infant deaths.‍ ‍
