ABORTION REMAINS LEGAL in Wyoming, including telehealth medication abortion.
Despite the August 16, 2023 Fifth Circuit ruling regarding medication abortion, medication abortion remains fully available due to the US Supreme Court’s earlier stay. For Wyoming, most importantly, on June 22, 2023, Judge Owens granted our motion to temporarily stop the medication abortion ban set to take effect on July 1. This means both the overall abortion ban and the medication ban are blocked for now. JustThePill (telehealth), Wellspring Health Access (up to 23 weeks & 6 days – Casper) and Women’s Health and Family Care (medication – Jackson) are currently providing services in Wyoming. We’ll update this page if that changes.
